History of RTM TV1 Live

The channel at the time of launch in December 1963 was known as RTM1. They started with news updates and international shows. The channel slowly increased its broadcast timing and became a full 24-hour broadcast channel in 2006. The channel has been rebranded many times and now it is known as TV1. The logo of the channel was also re-designed in 2004. 

The tagline of TV1 used to be “Your Infotainment Channel”. The current tagline is, “Coloring Your Life” in Malay.
